To be a model you have to join arts school for play,drama and act where there have different streams for singing,dancing,drama,model and other activities.
You have to pursue those courses and make practice and participate in different competitions to get recognized. The more you qualify the more you will get recognized. There are many competitions held every year. The higher you can go like MISS World,MIss Universe,Miss India and there are lots....
These need lots of knowledge,skills and styles. you have to be expert on it.You have to be smart and clever at the same time. You can check the videos of different national and international level competitions how the questions are asked and how they answer. Then you will know how things are done.
Take an admission in any good and recoginized university and start practicing and participate at every level like disctrict,state,national,international. you will get recognized as a model naturally

There's no such educational qualification required or is mentioned anywhere to become a model. You can take up a breakthrough in modelling field whenever you want and if your circumstances support. Some models even take up the career while in highschool. All you need is talent, looks and whatever is the requirement they specify in terms of height, weight etc., Hope this helps.
