Which subjects are included in cat course

Hii,

CAT is a National level Common Entrance test to get admission in IIM's and B- schools.

The CAT Exam includes mainly three Sections.

• Verbal Aptitude and Reading Comprehension(VARC)
• Data interpretation and logical reasoning(DI &LR)
• Quantitative Aptitude(QA)

In VARC , the main topics are Reading Comprehensions, syllogisms, Idioms, sentence correction, tenses  and Grammar.

In DI & LR , the topics are Flowchart, pie chart, Tables, in DI the questions are related to Interpretation of Data given and answering based on the question. In LR you will have  questions on puzzles,linear arrangements and circular arrangements.

In QA , questions on Time and work, Speed,Time and distance, Profit and loss, progressions, Ratios, percentages, Averages,Mixtures and Allegations, Algebra, Geometry,Quadratic equations, Probability, permutations and combinations and Numbers.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, Geometry, Algebra, Mensuration, Time and work.

LogicalReasoning and Data Interpretation: Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Tables, Graph, Data Caselets

Verbal Avility and reading comprehension: Para jumbles and para summary, sentance completion, interference, RC Passages based questions.
