which topic is most importan for MPBSE exam of 12 class in pcm
Dear Aspirant,
Here are the important topics for Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
1)Chemistry: In Chemistry, it is recommended to do a trend analysis of each chapter. Maintain a notebook where all equations are written. Do not ignore the numerical problems. Read the text book as many times as possible as questions from in between the text are expected to come as HOTS. Solve all previous year question papers. Important topics are:
a) Physical Chemistry- The Solid State, Solutions. Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Inorganic Chemistry, The p-Block Elements, The d- and f-Block Elements.
b) Organic Chemistry- Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Amines
2)Physics: Physics is based on a number of central theories and concepts. It is these underlying principles that every question is based on. Understanding the basics will help you solve the application based questions. It is advised for you to create a flow chart or mind map that will give you an overview of the concepts. Focus on the graphs and diagrams. Physics is studied the best when it is visualized. The important topics in Physics are: Ray Optics, Electronic Devices, Communication Systems, Atoms and nuclei, Electrostatics, Dual nature of matter, Magnetism
3)Mathematics: Maths is the subject that only comes with practice. No memorisation can work for this subject. Just like Physics, be sure to be thorough with the concepts. Start by solving the examples given in the text. Compare your solution and the solved solution, you will see where you go wrong or what could have been done better. Make sure you have a notebook where all formulae and derivations are written down. Practice solving problems in a stepwise method as most of the examiners mark the answers according to each step. Be sure to solve all previous year question papers as you will learn the trick of paper solving. Important topics in Maths are:
Calculus( Continuity and Differentiablity, and Application of Integrals, Derivatives and its Applications, Indefinite integrals, differential equations ), Relations and Functions (Equivalence relation and Composition of two functions), Algebra, Probability (Multiplication Theorem on Probability,Independent Events,Bayes’ Theorem, Random Variable and Its Probability Distribution,Mean and Variance of Random Variable, Binomial Distribution), Vector and 3D Geometry
Hope this helps! All the best!
