LNJN NICSFS is one of the many reputed institutes offering Master of Arts and Master of Sciences degrees in Forensic Science and Criminology. All these courses are open to the general public. The program is a step ahead in helping the officers of Criminal Justice System. Both the programs are of two years duration.

An individual is only eligible to take up admission in the institute if he/she has passed certain entrance exams. Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU is solely the criteria for the selection. One can even get scholarships if they score a high rank in the test.

Following qualifications are required for the IPU CET Test -
(1) Class 12th passed from CBSE, ISCS or any other recognized board.
(2) A minimum aggregrate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(3) Individually passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(4) Passing in english as the core subject.

Candidates must have their B.Sc degree in Forensic Science from any recognised university.

The above mentioned criteria's are basically the criteria of questions of the entrance exam. You need to have a thorough knowledge of your subjects with the knowledge from sources outside the books and guides. The paper consists of 150 questions from Phyics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. All these questions are from the
syllabus of 11th and 12th standard.

According to your rank, your eligibilty to get admission in the institute with or without scholarship is decided.

Thank you.This information is like an arrow in the quiver for me. I hope so that this along with my hardwork will clear my way to the institute.But if I could get some information about the topics from which questions are asked than that would make my preparation more appropriate.

Hello.
I wish to study MA criminology from NICFS and I don't know how to prepare. There are no sample papers available and there aren't any guide books provided. Where do I start?
Also if I wish to pursue MA in criminology but I am from a humanities background and have studied science only till grade Xth. Will that be any issue?
