which type of questions example
Dear Aspirant,
Since you wish to be in the medical profession, I am assuming that you are looking for the types of questions in the NEET examination. The prestigious examination offers admissions into various medical/paramedical courses of universities and colleges across the country. The examination occurs through the offline mode and happens once a year. It is highly competent with many students working hard to clear it. Thus, it is very necessary to analyse the types of questions in the admission test. There are 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology that the students have to answer in a duration of three hours.
45 questions will be asked each from botany, zoology, physics and chemistry. Every correct answer leads to four marks being awarded and an incorrect answer leads to negative marking. It is a key point to note that more than sixty percent of the questions can be directly alluded to the NCERT textbook. So read your NCERT textbooks extensively such that your concepts are very strong.
In Physics, approximately, 7 questions are of an easy level, 9 are tricky and 25 are of moderate difficulty level.
Looking at the previous year's question papers will help you get more depth and will definitely helped you understand the questions and the paper pattern well. I would suggest you to practice the papers and also read the reviews about them and the recurring questions. Physics for instance is always seen to tough compared to the other two, i.e., Chemistry and Biology. Look at the topics and the questions being asked for each and their difficulty level.
Hope this helps. All the best!
