Last 5 years paper pattern has remained consistent and shouod be uses for reference, You can also give mock exams online like Careerlauncher, IMS , TestFunda.
You would require 8-10 months for consideration and preparing well enough.
Join a coaching class like TIME, CpLC, Catking, Careerlauncher.
You should devote 4 months for full preparation and solve weekly mock exams. After that devoting 1month for mock tests for each section, and then 1month for all sections together. You would need to correct and recrify mistakes and weaknesses should be focussed. In the end, just revision and more mock exams will help you alot.
You should sokve more problems from bokks lkke Arun Sharma, RS agarwal, Chandresh agarwal. Try to give mock tests every week and revise them frequently to avoid mistakes. You can see last 3-4 years CAT exam papers because format of question paper has been changed a lot in last few years. Attempting recent year papers will give you a fair idea about the level and type of questions asked in the paper and also with the type of paper you can make a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.
For attempting more questions you can also attempt further old papers but don't judge yourself on those paper's result as they would be in complete different format. You can on My use them to attempt more questions.
Other than CAT papers I will strongly recommend to attempt online mock test on various sites like hitbullseye where you will also get to know about your strength and weakness which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and also know about your predicted percentile which will help you to know where you stand.

That's fantastic aimcat series is good although questions in aimcat series are a little more difficult then the one asked in CAT exam. I will recommend you if possible also give Career Launcher test series. It is also fantastic.
