Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
If you’ve received a discrepancy notice for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) during your registration, stating that you need to submit your father’s income certificate. You can address this issue by following these steps:
Submit Mother’s Income Certificate with an Affidavit: You can submit your mother’s income certificate, issued by a competent authority. Additionally, prepare an affidavit stating that your father has been absent for seven years and that your mother is the sole breadwinner.
Write an application to the counseling authority: If the counseling portal does not accept your mother’s income certificate alone, file a grievance with the counseling authority. Explain your situation, attaching the affidavit and your mother’s income certificate.
Visit Help Line Centre
: Attend the nearest Help Line Centre during document verification. Present your mother’s income certificate, affidavit, and proof of your father’s absence. Request manual verification and approval for TFWS eligibility.
All the best.
Thank you.
