Gazetted officers are the Central or State government officers who are recruited by the sign of President of India or Governor of respective State respectively.
There are class A and class B officers, some of them are :
Section Officer, BDO, Tahsildar, Junior Doctors in Government hospitals, Assistant Executive Engineer,Headmaster of Government high schools, Public Notary, Magistrate, tax dept personnel etc.
Copies, documents are attested by only 1st and 2nd class officer only.
