The Chairperson of SBI is Rajnish Kumar .
He has served as Managing Director - National Banking Group and the Managing Director of SBI. He was previously also headed the SBI Capital Markets Limited as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Rajnish Kumar is the current chairperson of SBI,Rajnish Kumar is 62 years of age and is currently staying at his Mumbai Residence.
He joined SBI in 1980 as probationary officer.He has also served as the MD of National banking group and MD of compliance and risk at SBI.
