Usually engineering colleges offers placements in 4th year itself so that by the time you get your degree you will be having a job in your hand.
So,that you will be settled so fastly in your life also getting a placement in campus more easier than getting it in off campus.
Though you don't select in on campus you do have so may options you can go for higher studies and also can get job off campus if you have great skills.
Hope this answer helps you,
Goodluck,
Thankyou.
Hey Dilip,
It depends on many factors to get a good rating of any college. One of them is placement. and its the most vital and the most important factor to get a good rating. As students are paying a huge amount of fees to the college and the student also expects to get a place in one of the company. and its really very difficult to get a job for a fresher. But college provides opportunities to grab a job for the freshers. So college asks companies to visit their college so the student can get placed to that company. And it also creates a reputation of the college. So it's really very very important for an engineering college.
So if a student didn't get selected in campus placement then they must search for off campus placement or go for higher studies as to make a good profile or apply for government jobs. There are many more options but some of them I mentioned above.
Hope that helps
all the best
Hello Dilip. In order to get 100% placement you can join the best college for engineering in your state. There are companies coming in these colleges known as mass recruiters so even if you are an average student, there are 90% chances that you will be selected by these companies. Just be confident. And if by any chance you are not selected by any of the companies coming in your college, you can do courses from institutes where there are placement facility available. So they will get you placed. Or else you can study further. Good luck.
Hi Dilip,
B.tech is a professional course which means that an undergraduate degree makes you eligible for decent jobs which is why you invest in doing it. Placements are the end desire of most people while some others prefer research. If you do not want to have a job just free b.tech, you can go for Masters. Infact an M.tech or an MBA can give you scope for better jobs in most cases. You may also prefer to prepare for government exams or go to the teaching line. It's upto you to decide in the four years what you want to do ahead.
All the best!
