    Civilisation has more impact in making this conclusion than we think. The 24-hours concept comes from ancient Egyptian civilisation. They divided 10 hours for morning measurements and 12 hours for the night from observation of stars. For the remaining 2 hours, 1 hour was for twilight and another 1 hour for the end of the day.
