The Minister stated that in order to reduce stress of the aplicants and to provide flexibility it has been decided to give option to candidates to appear one/ two/ three/ four times in JEE (Main) 2021 for admission in Bachelor degree courses in engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture. Other thing is that to avoid mass gathering in the time of pandemic.

the minister stated that in order reduce stress, anxiety and to provide students more flexibility and more opportunities, the candidates would be given four attempts per year for JEE MAINS , i.e. february , March, april and May. And this is a golden opportunity to students who wish to take admission in NITs or any other top universities. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has said that the government considered the proposal ofJEE Mainsexamsto be conducted four timesto ensure that the candidates do not miss out on opportunities due to clash of examinations or the Covid-19 situation. This decision is for the benefit of the students. Due to the covid 19 pandemic prevailing in the country many students would not have been able to appear in the examination therefore the government has decided to conduct jee mains 4 times a year.
