Why normalisation of 12th marks according to board in JEE main has been removed?
JEE Main: Chapter Wise Weightage | Syllabus | Most Scoring Topics: Jan | April | Test Series
Sample Papers 2027 : Physics | Chemistry | Maths | Inorganic Chemistry | PYQ's
New: Session 1 & 2 Analysis (2026) | Mock Test Strategy | Notes: Formulas & Quick Revision

It is removed in favour of deserving students.
CBSE board students benefit a lot due to JEE normalization b
y the removal of board percentage there is equality between the student as CBSE and ISC board are easy to score.
Good luck!!
I will give an example from my point of view that
If a person who got 260 with 83% in ipe and another student who got 197marks in jee mains with 94% ipe marks get the same college as of the student who got 260.
It is better for some extent.
