Cutting of hydrogen bonds is energy consuming process that much energy is not present at a time in bacteria,hence compete separation of strands is not possible,thus is occurs in fragments,DNA replication is semi conservative process there are various methods of DNA replication like theta method,rolling circle,D- loop method,in each method replication proceeds after cutting of hydrogen bonds.
