Why withdrwal NOT,allowed in AKTU second round councelling, hence no upgradation of choices for B.tech happened

AKTU has announced the UPSEE 2018 seat allotment for round 2 in online mode. The candidates can check their allotment status after submitting their UPSEE 2018 roll number and password. The selected candidates will have to confirm their allocated seat till July 12, 2018. Cutoff for Round 2 has also been released. During the seat allotment of UPSEE 2018, the seats are allotted in all three rounds and a spot round will also be conducted for the vacant seats in Government colleges. Candidates are allotted seats during UPSEE seat allotment 2018 on the basis of their choice filling and merit list. After each round of seat allotment, candidates get three options to freeze, float or withdraw their allotted seat. It is important that candidates choose any of the three options otherwise their option will be automatically treated as 'withdrawn' from all counselling rounds. The seat allotted to such candidates will be cancelled and declared as vacant. However, for candidates who are not allotted seat in UPSEE on the basis of their choices will have to choose whether to continue with the counselling process or not. If they choose to stay, they will have to select 'float' and if they want to move out of the counselling process, they will have to choose 'withdraw' option. If such candidates did not choose any option timely, they will be automatically treated to have opted for 'float' and will be considered for next round of counselling.
