Will distance education in MBA increase the salary package?

With technology being updated from time to time and with new innovations distance learning can be a good choice of study.The students are selected on the basis of gradudation marks nd also the entrance exam marks/percentiles.However you will find out that here are a lot of differnces between distance MBA and full time MBA with respect to placements,mode of learning,duration of course,fees,etc.There are pros and cons for both the programmes.Practically speaking full time MBA has a lot to do with physical teaching and students get the benefit of lectures being delivered onspot with a good atmosphere of learning.The duration is fixed for full time MBA i.e 2 years while the duration for part time MBA may be 1-2 or 1-3 years.Regarding placements for full time MBA the b-schools have their own placement cells have candidates are recruited by top companies through campus recruitments,whereas for distance MBA there are no such placements like this and candidates have to search for thier jobs on thier own risk with opportunities quite less.Again for distance MBA the admission procedure is quite simple and involves direct admission,while for full time MBA the candidates have to qualify for the GD,PI,WAT rounds after having qualified the cutoff marks.For full time MBA the salary packages are much higher than that of distance MBA where many candidates are unable to find jobs.

So both distance MBA and full time MBA have their own perks and it totally depends upon the candidate and also most importantly his/her residential location with respect to distanc MBA.
