Will doing ba help me in clearing compitive exams like ssc????
Hello,
Doing BA will make you eligible for SSC CGL, since the eligibility criteria for this exam is graduation from any recognized university. There are two posts especially AAO and junior statistical officer where this eligibility differs in the sense that in JNO, one needs to have maths at +2 level or statistics as one subject at graduation level and for AAO, you can sit for the exam, but you need to qualify two compulsory papers.
Now, coming to your question, your graduation degree makes you eligible for the exam, the rest of the part that is preparation is in your hand, clearing this exam will depend a lot on your dedication and sincerity during the preparation, Maths and English form a major part of this preparation, because this two comes in Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III(Descriptive paper of English only), apart from reasoning and general studies in Tier-I.
So, if you make your base strong, you can definitely qualify for the exam, what matters here is how well prepared you're and how strong is your subjects, for that you need rigorous study and well-planned time able to devote each subjects, being well acquainted with the syllabus and practicing previous years papers along with mock tests. Mock tests give you an idea about how well your preparation is and your areas of lacking, it also makes you equip with the time frame of the exam.
Hope, this helps.
Dear Aspirant,
Academically it will not help you in a direct way, but it could be helpful due to the following two main reasons.
-
EASY COURSE
- GIVE YOU TIME
The course of BA is easy and you can do it with fewer efforts. This will give you an advantage and you could give more hours to the preparation of SSC. Moreover, there is no such problem of attendance and hence if you want, you can join coachings.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.
