Will EWS quota apply in 19-20 medical admission in Gujarat ?

Yes the govt. of gujarat has announced the seats in EWS category and the students can take admission through EWS in the counselling rounds. In 10% reseravation for the EWS there is an increment of the seats around 6000 in all medical fields so you can advatageously use this reservation for the admissions. You have to apply for the EWS certificate and then after you will be able to use this reservation sets.

Don't know unless an official statement is up from NTA. The recent Times Of India Newspaper said that the EWS quota won't be available for this year's admission and then there began a protest by the EWS category. So the situation is now in the court and nothing has been finalised yet. So better to wait for an official declaration.
