Yes, you will be eligible for GATE,  provided you meet up other eligibility too. Any one with who meet up other eligibility and does engineering in any stream can  take GATE exam. You can chose any paper while appearing for GATE. You should most probably choose CSE paper for GATE, but its not compulsion and can choose any paper

Hello MS BHUVAN RAJ , From some research on internet I found that if you are really very interested in that department then you have to write Gate exam in Mechanical Paper. After that according to your gate score you can choose institutions for M.Tech in Robotics. There is a nother way that is you can write gate exam in XE paper. But XE paper is not allowed for every institution. You have to search on Internet that to do M.Tech in Robotics which are the gate papers will be allowed for that particular institution. ME paper will granted by every institution for sure .
