No, a candidate cannot get a free seat in any institution, no matter the rank or marks he/she cannot get a free seat. However, there are many colleges whose fee structure is extremely low and if you get a good rank, you can get admission in these colleges such as AIIMS Delhi, Maulana Azad Medical College, King George's Medical College and many others.
Deemed colleges such as Manipal University also provide a scholarships to candidates with top ranks.
