Will I get AEC (civil ) with 128 marks an d genral category rank 985 ? I am a SC candidate

First of all congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. As you have said you want to persue civil engineering in Assam Engineering college (AEC), yes you can get AEC your rank is pretty good and you also belong to sc category so you can get AEC. Hope you get your college.

And What about other branches like mechanical engineering or electronic and telecommunications engineering in AEC ?

It depends on other candidates which are above you if they choose mechanical or ECE then little chances. But you can get mechanical ECE will be difficult for you to get.
But last year one of my friend with 1366 general rank got CSE in AEC . He is a SC Candidate
In first round
I told you it depends suppose there are 50 seats in a branch and your rank is suppose 80 then if the above 50 students decide to join that particular branch then how will you get the branch. But no worries with your rank you can get a seat.
