Will I get nit b tech with category rank of 30732 in obc quota
Dear aspirant;
assume you want to get into top 10 NITs . So , I think scoring at least 50% will give you an opportunity to get into Top NITs (You may have to compromise with branch) . But considering the recent rules by MHRD , You should also score well in 12th class exam . So , try to be within top 20 percentile of your board ( But if you would be within top 1% , it will be really helpful in future career. But if you are in class 11 and starting preparation , then study , practice smartly . Try to get min 70% in JEE Mains and set higher goal to get into IITs .
Thank you.
All the best!
U might not be getting preferential branch in any of NITs even under home state quota. Since u havn't mentioned ur state, i can tell you about Delhi colleges.
You can get DTU(ENE,EP,PCT,BT) may be before spot round but definately in spot round,u might also get DTU(PIE,MAE) in spot round if things go in ur favour. You can also get NSIT(MPAE,ICE,BT) in spot round.
Since NIT delhi is a new college with lesser branches(in number), its previous year cutoff touched around 28k after spot round.

Dear Aryan,
According, to previous year cut off you have less chances to get NITs based on your rank and category in other state quota.
You might have chances in your state quota.
Can you tell me your home state?
You can also check the cut off rank for all the NITs from the given below link
