Will it be good to take admission in MBA in Xav university, Kolkata? Which has started this year itself. How is the scope ?

A Christian Minority Higher Educational Institution, St.Xavier's was founded in 1860 by a Catholic Minority Religious body, the Societyof Jesus, and was affiliated to Calcutta University in 1862. While preferenceis shown to the educational and cultural needs of the Minority community,admission is open to all irrespective of caste, creed and nationality!

Scope is very good and you will get a job only on your capability. There is no institute who give you a sure job. You have to earn a job.

Xavier university is itself a very big chain which has been working in educational field from a long time. By this we can trust in the college for the proper education system, courses, faculties and facilities.

But if I talk about placements then it will be a big risk because to bring up a huge number of companies for the first batch is difficult even when you are a part of a big university. Becuase placements chain works a lot on the basis of alumni network in each college and you being the first batch you won't be able to find any alumni of your college.

So in short we don't have any data or records so we can't comment on the status of the college. It will be better if you keep this university as your last option because you should not take risk with your career. You won't be doing MBA again it's once and for all.
