I think you should not worry too much. If the question paper is tough then cutoffs will be low and if it is easy the cutoffs will be high. So try and prepare well and perform well too.

Yes, the cutoff is directly impacted by elements like number of candidates registering for a particular exam and number of seats available for admission and the difficulty level of the exam. As the difficulty level of MHT CET 2018 has been raised to that of JEE Main 2018, it's expected that the cutoff of various institutes (which are participating in MHT CET 2018) would go down. Chances are more for the cutoff going low/down rather than it going up.
