Will there be a re-exam date, incase a student is unable to appear for the exams in Feb-Mar '26?
Hello,
Generally, schools and boards do not schedule a separate re-exam date for students who are unable to appear on the original exam dates (Feb–Mar) unless it is due to an officially recognised emergency like medical illness supported by a doctor’s certificate, natural disaster, or board-approved reason.
Standard practice is:
If a student misses the exam without a valid reason, they are usually marked absent, and no re-exam is conducted.
If the absence is due to a serious documented issue (e.g., hospitalisation), you must submit a written application with supporting documents to your school/board as early as possible. The board may consider special arrangements on a case-by-case basis, but this is not guaranteed and depends on board policies.
Boards generally do not officially announce a blanket re-exam date for everyone — they only offer options for those with legitimate documented emergencies.
