Will there be new engineering branches created?

The branches offered in engineering are offeredk in mind the demand of the industry and research work that is undertaken in this branch so certainly if there are necessary then new branches are created like if you see the Indian institute of technology Hyderabad then they have created a new branch that is artificial intelligence and they are now offering bachelor of technology in artificial intelligence so it is completely based upon the need of the industry and time so as the time progress there will be new fields which will be evolving recently IIT Guwahati has developed a new course that is master of technology in data science so as per the need of the industry and research work new branches will be created
