Dear student,
If you have given JEE mains 2020 then you are eligible to sit in josaa counselling 2020.
jossa - joint seat allocation authority is responsible for giving admissions in nits, IITs, IIITs and gftis in different undergraduate courses
For participating at josaa counseling you have to register yourself from the official site. The jossa counseling is scheduled to start from 6th October 2020. If you get any seat in jossa counseling and you accept it, then you have to pay seat acceptance fees and report to the respective reporting centre for final confirmation of your seat.
Now if you you don't get any seat in josaa counselling, then you can opt for CSAB round counselling and this is called the jee mains special round counseling , which is held after the josaa counselling is over.
And you can participate in CSAB round counselling by paying a participation fees of rupees 36500 and if you get any seat and accept it, then again you have to pay the seat acceptance fees of around rupees 35000.
So yes, there will be a special round counselling in 2020 (after the jossa counseling ) that is known as CSAB - Central seat allocation board which is conducted every year for filling the vacant seats in nits or iiits or gftis after ending of jossa counseling.
