With a rank of 48000 in VITEEE , what are my possible chances ?

As told by a VIT Counselor, The only possibility of getting admission in your desired branch at VIT UNIVERSITY is through management quota.

There are a limited number of seat for each branch say 1000 in CSE Vellore campus. So what VIT does is It has categories like :

Category 1: fee around 1.98 lakhs seats 500

Category 2: fee around 3.07 lakhs seats 250

Category 3: fee around 3.95 lakhs seats 150

Category 4: fee around 4.75 lakhs seats 100

CSE usually gets closed at 40000 and thus it is very difficult and highly unlikely that you'll get admission in that.

Although you might be able to get in Civil Engineering through 2nd or 3rd category.

Do not get disheartened. There are other branches and categories through which you can get a seat in VIT. There are many other colleges in the country as well where you can apply.

To secure a seat in VIT in itself is an expensive affair.
