Based on the cutoffs of previous years, I am sorry to say but getting admission with this DU JAT rank will not be possible for you unless you belong to any reserved category. The cutoffs for unreserved category do not cross 1000 even usually so a rank of 2588 doesn't really come into consideration. I would suggest you to opt for other alternatives or try again in the next year.
