The only other way to secure a BTech admission in an NIT without having given JEE MAINS would be under the DASA(Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme, wherein, instead of using your JEE MAINS score to rank you, your SAT score is used instead. However, the mandatory qualification required to participate in this scheme is that you either should have taken your 12th board exams in a CBSE school abroad or you are either a foreign or dual citizen.
