Hi,
Only full-time work experience after graduation is considered for CAT application. You must have documents to show your professional full-time work experience. However, you don't need to focus so much on the work experience as it gets very small weightage in the final merit list. First, score a high percentile in CAT exam. Only after that, you will be shortlisted for the selection rounds - GD, PI and WAT. Although you need to perform well in all the rounds, PI and CAT score get maximum importance/weightage in the final merit. Know more about the complete CAT selection process here - CAT Selection Procedure 2018
All the best.
See when you want to clear cat then prepare for it and clear that first without thinking about it that whether your work experience will be more beneficial or not. So all the the best rest all depends on you. All the best!
