would KAS be effective after the abrogation of article 370? does it work as it was doing before and would it continue to recruit kAS officers as it had been doing before?

But I guess only in Kashmir had civil service exams for junior scale officers like KAS cracker would be appointed as SDM or or district officers and would after 6-7years reach as DC (deputy collector) and they were promoted to IAS officers after 5years .same In police services KPS (Kashmir police services) would be directly appointed as dy.sp . And same as account gazatted officer etc. Apart from pSC like other proficinal gazatted officers like doctors and Assistant engineers or other departmental exams like forestry, agriculture etc... which is applicable every where. KA would be appointed as additional DC.etc... based on their rank in KAS. It's same as I A s .

priyaankasarkar I think after implementing JKRO Act 2019 ... UPSC will hold exam.for civil service in JK as in other UTs....
Hope KAS will continue no matter either student from other states also apply or not .. but it should be continue with same syllabus and should be held anually without any delay like as in past and ....
