Full stack development refers to the development of end-to-end software; this includes both the front and back end portions of web applications. The front-end incorporates the user interface whereas the back-end looks after business logic and application workflows. A full-stack developer is someone who holds knowledge of both front-end and back-end development along with database languages and frameworks. The job role of a full stack developer is quite tough at times, it prerequisites knowledge and experience of several other programming languages, technologies and frameworks.

They code the most complex programs for all the three layers of application or website.
They troubleshoot any errors, if found in the different layers of the application or website.
They often coordinate with front-end, back-end and database developers.
They set up rigorous testing formats for programs/applications to have a handle on quality.
They address database queries and debug, if required.
