• 50% in aggregate and 45% in the subject applied for or related subjects
• 55% in the subject applied for or related subjects
• 50% in aggregate (if the candidate has not studied the subject)

For Reserved Category Candidates-

• 40% in aggregate
• 40% in the subject applied for or related subjects

A candidate taking up an Honours Course in a subject must have obtained at the previous qualifying examination a minimum of:

55% marks in Sociology.

OR

45% marks in Sociology + 50% marks in BO4.
