Admissions are done on the basis of Valid score in MAT/GMAT/GRE/CMAT/CAT/XAT or ATMA and Academic performance in Class 10, Class 12 and undergraduate degree, Group discussion (GD), Micro Presentation (MP), Written Assessment (WA), Verbal Assessment (VA) and Personal Interview (PI).

NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test)

• A national-level entrance exam for students interested in joining Nitte University

• A Candidate must have 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters/years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree are also eligible to apply.
• Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE is only eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

Admission to MBA course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the bachelor degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% i.e., integer (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination. However, in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, the aggregate percent of the marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45%.
