Admission is done based on fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.

• A candidate who has passed any Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are from non-Computer Science should have studied any of the following subjects at the Pre- University or Degree level – Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Mathematics or Electronics.

• Passed B.C.A / B.Sc. in Computer Science / B.Sc. in Information Technology / B.Sc in Computer Technology / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree from a University recognized / certified by UGC / SRMIST / AIU.
• Passed B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. from University recognized/certified by UGC / SRMIST / AIU with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level.
• The Minimum Percentage of Marks / CGPA prescribed by SRMIST.
• Notwithstanding the above, actual Admissions will also be based on the rules and regulations of the UGC / AICTE / Competent authorities.
