Admission is based on AKTU Counselling (On the basis of JEE-Main Rank).
Through Counseling:
• 85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through Counseling (based on the JEE main ranks).
Procedure: The announcement will be done by the affiliating University (AKTU)
Through Management Quota:
• 15% seats will be offered to the eligible candidates through direct admissions based on the guidelines of affiliating University (AKTU) and as per the College policy.
Procedure: The candidate has to apply online through the institute's website. Institute will offer seats to the candidate as per the guidelines of AKTU and the college policy.
Eligibility Criteria
AKTU Counselling (On the basis of JEE-Main Rank) - Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subject and one subject from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject, as per latest norms of AICTE/AKTU.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Passed 3 years of Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
B. Tech. (Lateral Entry to 2nd yr ) - Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution located in UP and recognized by BTEUP.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Will be allotted if seats remain vacant after allotment to Diploma Students.
Mgmt Quota/ Vacant seats - Firstly, by the qualified candidates of JEE(Main), who fulfill the eligibility, their relative merit will be decided on their rank in the entrance examination. Thereafter, by the merit of candidates in qualifying examinations lay down by AICTE for admission to various programs which are updated from time to time.
B. Tech. (Lateral Entry to 2nd yr ) - Firstly, by the qualified candidates of CUET, who fulfill the eligibility, Thereafter, by the merit of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination securing minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST)
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.(Any of the three)
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
OR
Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
(The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme).
Lateral Entry-
Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
