    Admission to B.Tech courses is done through EAMCET common entrance tests conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. 70% of the seats are allotted for the merit students based on their rank in EAMCET. 30% of the seats are under NRI/Management quota. In addition, diploma holders are admitted into second-year B.Tech to the extent of 20% intake based on the merit in ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.

Aspirants need to appear for the entrance exam specified by the institute or state or national level bodies after duly clearing them with stipulated percentage in respective exams. Thereafter the students are needed to appear for personal counseling sessions as notified from time to time.     1. Eligibility for admissions to 1st year B. E /B. Tech programs

    • I. The candidate should have passed the Intermediate Exam (10 +2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or any other examination of any other University or Authority accepted by the Director of Technical Education, as equivalent.
    • II. The candidate should have qualified in the common entrance test conducted by the Telangana State Government ―EAMCET. Ranks are allocated based on the performance in the test
    • III. The candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/non–local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

    2. Eligibility for admissions to 2nd year BE/B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry scheme

    • I. The candidate should have passed the Diploma in Engineering/Technology, awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Telangana, or its equivalent
    • II. The candidate should have qualified in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted by the Telangana State Government. Ranks are allocated based on the performance of the test.
    • III. The candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/non–local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

    • The Candidate shall be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin.
    • In respect of Under-graduate Professional Courses in Engineering, the candidate should have completed 16years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
    • The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together/ (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) and should have secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test conducted by AP state authority/JEE MAIN.

    Eligibility Criteria for Admission to 2nd year B. Tech through Lateral Entry Scheme

    • Students who have passed Diploma / B.Sc (Mathematics) can apply for admission to 2nd Engineering (B. Tech) Professional Courses in respective branches according to their stream in Diploma through Lateral Entry Scheme.
    • Only those candidates who are passed with an aggregate marks of 50% in the final year/final semester of the Diploma programme
    • or who have obtained Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering from State Board of Technical Education and training of Andhra Pradesh or any diploma recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent are eligible for admission for B. Tech. Degree courses in the branches of Engineering/Pharmacy corresponding to their Diploma and as permitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
