Candidates will be shortlisted based on the CAT entrance exam and Personal Interview (PI) and a Written Ability Test (WAT).

The candidate will be required to sit for Management Aptitude Test (MAT), arranged by All India Management Association. Candidates who have taken the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) conducted by AICTE and/or Joint Entrance for Management Test (JEMAT) conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology will also be eligible. On the basis of the tests, the candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview at the Institute premises. The Final List of the selected candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit.

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the University/Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case a candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the University/ Institution from where bachelor’s degree has been obtained. In case the University/ Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

• Honors Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in any discipline/Graduate in any professional course (Engineering, Medicine, 5 years LLB, etc.) of a recognized University or a degree considered equivalent thereto and fulfills other conditions stipulated by Calcutta University for the Course.
• Candidates must have (I) a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the Executive/ Supervisory level and (II) must be employed in a full-time job at the time of admission.
• This Programme has executive student profiles ranging from frontline supervisors to senior-level managers, from different private & public sectors involved in Engineering, IT, Processing & Manufacturing, Marketing, and Financial Institutions. The student block comprises of professionals from several other areas such as Medicine, Academic, etc.
