At least 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA/CPI out of 10 without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS category candidates (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) in the qualifying degree. For Candidates with letter grades/CGPA on other scales, the equivalence will be decided by the Institute. For M.Sc. (Chemistry), Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters and Mathematics at (10+2) level. For M.Sc. (Mathematics), Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years/four semesters. For M.Sc. (Physics), Bachelor’s degree with Physics as a subject for two years/four semesters and Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters. For M.Sc. (Cognitive Science), Qualifying Degree: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.M.S./B.Tech./B.E./B. Stat./B.Math. or equivalent For M.Sc. The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as Economics / Mathematics / Statistics with at least 50% mark.
