The admission shall be on the basis of the GATE entrance exam.

Admission to M.Sc. programmes for the academic year 2023-24 is open via JAM 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech or B.E. (any Branch of Engineering), M.Sc. (any discipline), M.C.A.
At least 60% marks or at least 6.5/10 or Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) or Valid GATE score (CS/ IT/ EE/ EC).
B. Tech. from any of the IITs (any branch of Engineering) or CPI or CGPA 8/10 or above or The requirement of valid GATE score is exempted.

MEQ:

No restrictions for engineering degrees. For B.Sc./B.S. degree, Physics for at least two years/ four semesters & Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters.

ER:

All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree. .
At least 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC-NCL Category Candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks,without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.
