Valid GATE score (in CS/ IT)

Candidates with valid GATE score will only be eligible for M.Tech Assistantship. GATE score above the qualifying marks announced by GATE in the respective year will be considered valid. For CSE, “CS” GATE paper and for ECE, “EC/EE/IN” GATE paper will be considered.

The eligibility criteria prescribed below are the absolute minimum. The Admissions Committee may prescribe requirements over and above these.

• B.Tech., B.E. or B.Sc. (Engineering) At least 60% marks or At least 6.5/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Valid GATE score.
• M.Sc. in Sciences At least 70% marks or At least 7/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Valid GATE score.
• B.Tech. from any of the IITs CPI or CGPA 8/10 or above. The requirement of valid GATE score is exempted.

Both GATE and Non GATE candidates are eligible to apply for admission with B.Tech/BE or MCA/MSc in CS/IT (& its allied areas) with a CGPA of at least 7.00 out of 10 or 65% marks.

IIIT-Delhi provides relaxation to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW category candidates. Specifically, candidates under these categories must have a CGPA of at least 6.0 out of 10 or 60% in their qualifying degree. Applicants who do not satisfy the above criteria will not be considered for admission
