Admission Details
Eligible candidates are required to fill up the application form online to pursue the IIT Madras Online B.Sc Programming and Data Science course. They need to visit the official website of the university, choose the course and then fill in the basic information. Post that, they need to upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Selection will be based on the merit list of one of the following national examinations.
1. JEE Main
2. JEE Advance
3. NEET(UG)
4. IISER Aptitude test
Note: Candidate must be qualified in any one of the exams mentioned above, and the exam result must be valid as on 01 August
Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to enrol in the IIT Madras Online B.Sc in Programming and Data Science. The Online B.Sc in Programming and Data Science eligibility criteria are as follows:
Candidates must have completed class 12th in any stream or equivalent.
School students who have appeared for their Class 11 final exams are also eligible to apply irrespective of their group/stream/board. Those who qualify can join the programme after passing Class 12.
Note: Candidates must have studied Mathematics and English in class 10.
(a) Candidates who have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in and also those who are expecting to complete their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination
(b) The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects.
(c) The candidates must have secured a firstclass or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or equivalent)
