Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate who has qualified for the award of the Bachelor‟s Degree in Engineering/Technology of this Institute or a recognized Institute or University in the discipline as prescribed in the regulations of the Senate is eligible to apply for Master of Technology (by Research) Programme at IIT Mandi in Engineering/Science including Humanities, Social Science and Management.

MEQ:

No restrictions for engineering degrees. For B.Sc./B.S. degree, Physics for at least two years/ four semesters & Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters.

ER:

All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree. .
At least 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC-NCL Category Candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks,without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.
