B.Tech. Admissions to various programs of IIITD will be done through Joint Admission Counselling, JAC-Delhi, and through IIITD admission process using UCEED rank (Only for some seats in CSD) and Class XII Marks (Only for some seats in CSSS). Admission to the B.Tech programme in any year will be based as per orders from the Government of India. Currently, there are based on performance in the Joint Entrance  Examination (JEE) Main and HSC examinations as per  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines through counseling conducted by the CSAB for the respective year.

70% marks in aggregate for five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and 70% in Maths in class XII from CBSE board or equivalent.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
