Admission Details
Admission to the IDP shall be made either on the basis of the merit rank obtained by the qualifying candidate at an Entrance Test conducted by the AP State Government (EAMCET), OR the University, OR on the basis of any other order of merit approved by the University, subject to reservations as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
Students opting for the 5 years integrated IDP must specify their choice for M.Tech. (within the specializations given above) or MBA as the case may be, after choosing the appropriate Branch of Engineering, at the time of Admissions only. Option thus exercised is final, and cannot be changed during the study period.
Students opting for 5 years integrated IDP have to study for the specified period, to earn the relevant credits for the award of both the B.Tech. and M.Tech. / MBA Degrees and they will not be permitted to have a choice for B.Tech. The degree alone after 4 years of study.
The candidates will be admitted on the basis of rank secured at the ICET.
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
A candidate seeking admission into Two years MBA programme must satisfy the following criteria:
1. A pass in Bachelor's degree in any field with 45% marks in aggregate.
2. Must have qualified in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by AP State Council of Higher Education, Govt of AP.
3. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.
