Admission Details
The Selection is based on the NEET exams conducted once a year by CBSE.
Admissions will be done on the basis of the valid rank obtained in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-PG).
Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidates should have passed the two years PUC examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board, Karnataka State, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. OR The candidates should have passed the BSc examination of Bangalore University or any other statutory University provided he/she has passed the BSc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
2. The Candidates should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Science subjects taken altogether at the qualifying examination and CET/COMED-K. However, the OBC-3A category and SC/ST students of Karnataka are required to secure 40% of the total marks.
3. The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
4. Foreign students desiring admission should produce:
(a) A No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
(b) An eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
(c) Student Visa.
(d) Residential Certificate.
Pass in MBBS degree from an Institution / Universality recognized by National Medical Council (NMC) / the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI) • The internship completion date should be on or before the date specified by NMC • Permanent Registration Certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the National Medical Council (NMC)/the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council • Candidates holding foreign degree must be a registered practitioner in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and MUST obtain a temporary registration certificate from National Medical Council (NMC) • Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the ForeignMedical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by National Board of Examinations.
