Admissions for students to any of the B.E. Programs are governed by the rules and regulations of Karnataka Examination authority and Director of Technical Education, Bengaluru. Students willing to join under any of the Quota must have anyone rank secured by them in CET (Karnataka) or Comed K exam or JEE at all India level.

• Admission to Govt. of Karnataka Quota (40%) -The students aspiring for admission are required to appear and qualify the Common Entrance Test (CET) Conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)- Bangalore, Govt. of Karnataka.
• Admission to University Quota (60% of the seats) Notes: up to 15% of seats are reserved for NRI / Foreign students - The students aspiring for admission are required to appear and qualify Uni-GAUGE and/or COMED-K examination conducted on all India basis.

• The candidate should have passed in 10 + 2 (PCM) with CET/Karnataka)/ComedeK/JEE anyone Rank compulsory).
• Lateral entry to B. E. Programs(Admission to 2nd Year B. E.)- 10 + 3 (Diploma in appropriate Branch).

Pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistries or Bio-Technology or Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

For Lateral Entry to the Second year - 

• Passed Diploma examination from an approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
• Passed B.Sc. from a recognized University as recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) and passed class 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects
