Admission Details
As per the prevailing Government Policy:- 70% of the seats are allotted from Government - Convenor Quota, and the remaining 30% from Management Quota - EAMCET/JEE Main Qualified or as notified by the Government likely 10+2 pass.
Admissions under Convenor's Quota (70% of intake in each branch):
All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify for the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
Admissions for BE/BTech under B-Category (Management Quota) (15% Merit and 15% NRI/NRI Sponsor) Admissions under Management Quota (30% of intake in each branch):
30% of seats shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in JEE mains, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. For getting under this category, the student must secure not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having passed 10+2 Examination with minimum 60% marks.
A Candidate seeking admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Osmania University as equivalent thereto. All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy the local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order as amended from time to time.
