Admission Details
Admission to the B. Tech degree programmes of NIT Calicut is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) - Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. For information on JEE (Main),
Admission to NIT, Agartala is made in accordance with the instructions received from the Ministry of Education (MoE), formerly the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India from time to time. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, physically challenged candidates and other backward communities as per the guidelines issued from Ministry of Education (MoE).
Admission to all courses is made in the odd semester of each session at the first year level through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) Ministry of Education, Govt of India
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
